In the green valley of the Hageland Hills you’ll find the moated castle Horst. A gratifying and ambitious space for HORST, an arts & music festival championing electronic music and in situ visual arts. This year’s music line-up is diverse, combining an array of impressive underground producers and guaranteed-to-deliver deejays. HORST invites personas and collectives from all over the world, each of whom contributing to a bustling, hyper-local scene whilst resonating on a global scale. Continuing with a two-stage offer, HORST strives to excel in quality, not quantity. This third edition with artistic curating duo Gijs Van Vaerenbergh will explore more experimental visual work, a program spanning generations and crossing borders. Expect extremely promising artists pioneering genres and pushing boundaries in an attempt to alter the world through their work, and in doing so involving the visitor – you – to the fullest. This year’s art lineup: Luc Deleu, Pieterjan Ginckels, Filip Dujardin, Studio Anne Dessing, Lodewijk Heylen, Adrien Tirtiaux and Elise Eeraerts.
